Well we just got back from our trip to Vancouver, and I am happy to report that it was very productive.  We managed to get three interviews (on video this time instead of audio) with people involved in film.  We also shot some footage of us touring around the Vancouver area scouting out different film studios, and vendors who rent out cool stuff.  I’ll fill you in some more later on, but right now we’re incredibly busy getting ready to shoot our first real music video tonight(instead of the one we just did for Conrad).  What I will tell you though is who we interviewed so you can look forward for those to be posted later.

First we interviewed On The Lot finalist Zach Lipovsky.  It was a very good interview I think.  Zach had a lot of very insightful things to offer, and seems to have experience/wisdom beyond his years.  We spoke with Zach for about 30 minutes or so.  Definitely stay tuned for that.

Second we interviewed special effects/mechanical effects supervisor David Gauthier.  David has worked on the X-Files as well as Reign of Fire among numerous others.  While this interview was much shorter, it was also very insightful, and offered a totally unique perspective on film that we hadn’t really seen before.

Finally we interviewed Alison Kowalchuk, and Jordana Kalenchuk, who both graduated from Vancouver Film School’s screenwriting program.  This was around 20 minutes long, and offered yet another unique perspective on film, and also on film school (which is kind of what this website was originally supposed to be about).
