Just read an awesome little post over at Film Wad by David Morgan. The post goes on to talk about a new term in entertainment has emerged, “Nuke the Fridge”, which describes a moment within a movie where they go to far and show action so ridiculous in an attempt to excite, and end up ruining the movie. This is of course referring to the Indiana Jones scene where Indiana survives a nuclear explosion by hiding in a fridge.
