I just stumbled across this resource very much by accident, and really I have not spent a moment looking into it, except for the demo video on the front page. The concept as I understand it is like an online video dating service for directors and actors, or rather casting directors and actors. I like the idea so far, have any of you heard of this? Can some people leave their impressions in the comments for everyone else to see, thanks : )

Hey Neil - Thanks for the shout out. Here’s a bit more info on CAZT (pronounced like “cast”) for your readers:
CAZT believes in helping actors get more out of the audition process.
We host audition videos from auditions in our space and all over town on our secure website.
After your audition, if you choose, you can watch your video(s) and read detailed feedback from your casting director on CAZT.
Think of CAZT like an acting class. But instead of performances in the safety of a class, you get real feedback, from real casting directors, on real auditions.
If this sounds cool, check out http://www.CAZT.com for more info.

I’ve used their service too… it’s kick ass and totally free.
The one condition for using it is you have to let actors view their own videos which I definitely had no problem with. They said they’re about actors being able to improve their auditions.

Great site…
Just curious, in your friend’s review of NYFA, he mentions attending an inferior Canadian film school…is he referring to VFS? I ask because I have been scouting it out, and even applied. I’m looking at NYFA as well, and investigating their 2 year conservatory program.
Thanks a bundle,
Seth
