I know this is very late to be talking about this, but the newest Terminator Salvation trailer was released and it made me think about Christian Bale and his outburst on that guy on his set. I’m not sure exactly what the guy did because I only HEARD the altercation, but does anyone deserve that kind of public humiliation? Anyway, just thinking out loud here. Check out the new Terminator Salvation trailer:

Hi Emmet,
my name is Franzi and I am post graduate student at the University of Cambridge in the UK. I did my undergraduate degree in film at the University in Southampton have been involved in the foundation of the National Student Film Association UK (NSFA- http://www.studentfilm.org.uk), the University of Southampton Film Festival and now the Cambridge International Student Film Festival (Cam*Era) which is scheduled for June 2010 and will hopefully bring together young film makers from all over the world.
I am writing to you today to let you know about an exciting project I am working on together with a friend here in Cambridge. While discussing the promotion of Cam*Era at the pub the other day, we were lamenting that there is no organization which connects student film makers from all over the world. Ergo, we are very interested in founding one
After gaining a lot of experience from the foundation of the NSFA, I have drawn up a rough proposal for an International Student Film Association and collected lots of information on this website: http://www.FutureInFilm.com
In order to get this project off the ground, I need your help! I have very good connections to student film makers in the UK (and as the chair of the NSFA I also have access to various film festivals and data bases) but when it comes to international film making I am pretty much clueless. What is going on with student films in your part of the world? And would you be interested in getting involved in a tremendous idea like building up the ISFA?
I feel that this project has unlimited potential and with its size will also attract many, very prestigious sponsors. We could unite student film makers across the world in one central organization! Just imagine the possibilities! Included in my plan is also an International Student Film Festival, which could move every year and as such promote different film making parts of the world.
Anyway, sorry for the long pitch!
Have a look at the website and drop me an email via futureinfilm@gmail.com to tell me what you think, if you would be willing to circulate the idea among your student film friends and/or if you want to get involved! Any help is greatly appreciated!
All the best,
Franzi
