Film School Student was started as a journal on my experiences in film school, but eventually became more of a journal on the pursuit of success in the film industry after I dropped out of film school.  My colleagues and I at our production company Vigor Media are now using this site as a tool to learn more about film, and pass on our knowledge to those with similar interests.  As we produce our own shorts and other projects we will occasionally post them here for feedback.  Below are the profiles of the people involved at Vigor Media:

Conrad Sun - Producer

Conrad is one of the founding partners and principal owners of Vigor Media Inc.  Conrad’s role in the company is primarily as a producer.  He is also our sales manager responsible for getting our corporate projects, acts as the face of the company, and often writes for our creative projects.

Emmet Gibney - Director

Emmet is the other founding partner and principal owner of Vigor Media Inc.  Emmet’s role in the company is primarily as a director.  He also acts as a quasi tech support for our numerous Mac editing stations, and handles the company’s finances.

Ewen Clark - Director of Photography

Ewen’s role in the company is primarily as a director of photography.  Ewen is a master with lights and cameras, and also does his fair share of editing.  While not doing video projects Ewen does the majority of our web design and maintenance.

Brett Rostrup - Editor/Post-Production Specialist

Brett’s role in the company is primarily as an editor/post production specialist.  Brett is highly skilled with post-production programs Final Cut Pro and Motion.  Brett does the majority of our green screen work and motion graphics.
