After years working under Paramount, Spielberg is taking Dreamworks, along with some hefty Indian indie financing, out on his own again.  David Geffen will be leaving Dreamworks and Jeffrey Katzenberg will still be involved with Dreamworks Animation and Paramount.

This really excites me because I really want to shoot my stuff on HD, and this camera is basically the DVX-100 made for HD (I already own a DVX-100 for my wedding videography, and other work). I just hope that there are enough of them that I can use them for my projects. Worst comes to worse I might consider buying one and renting it out when I’m not using it to pay for it.
